Duties: To oversee the patients are seen promptly and given the best possible care in a timely manner by other team players. Supervise the fabrication of custom orthodontic appliances and retainers. To handle and resolve any questions or adjustments with braces or appliance wear.
Field History: Joined Dr. Duryea in 1982, with experience in the orthodontic field since 1988.
Favorite thing about orthodontics: I like the variety of patients that we see. Every patient is different and presents with individual orthodontic needs. It is very exciting to create a beautiful smile.
Favorite thing about Dr. Duryea: His sense of superior uniqueness, making for a very positive work atmosphere. The way he makes the patients feel comfortable and know they have chosen the right orthodontic office for their treatment. He also treats the team players with a superior amount of respect and allows us to implement new ideas and to make our office shine above all others.
Favorite thing about the job: The one-on-one we have with our patients. They enjoy coming to see us and it is my pleasure to assist them and make them feel comfortable.

Favorite thing about orthodontics: Seeing the patient's confidence level increase when they love their smile!
Favorite thing about Dr. Duryea: He is a great team leader who truly cares for his staff and patients. He does not allow his intelligence and knowledge to overwhelm people; he takes his time to explain his diagnosis and treatment plan so patients/parents can understand. His sense of humor and "down-to-earth" personality give the office a relaxed and positive atmosphere.
Favorite thing about the job: Working with a great group of people including the patients/parents.

Field History: Joined Dr. Duryea's team in 2005. I graduated Central Florida Institute in 1999 and since then have been working as an orthodontic assistant.
Favorite thing about orthodontics: The beautiful end result! Also, the excitement patients feel at the beginning and end of treatment.
Favorite thing about Dr. Duryea: He's funny, easygoing and a great mentor!
Favorite thing about the job: The patients, getting to know them and making their treatment as pleasant as possible.

Field History: Started in general dentistry 1994 with a brief time away and joined Dr Duryea and his team in December 2008.
Favorite thing about orthodontics: The beautiful results and confidence it brings to our patients.
Favorite thing about Dr. Duryea: Knowing I work with a professional that still enjoys the work he does everyday.
Favorite thing about the job: Dentistry, for me, has always been about the relationships we form with our patients. They become an extension of the family.
